Kind Soul Counseling

Facilitating Transformation through Psycho-Social Counseling

About me

I truly appreciate you taking a moment to learn more about me. I hope my story gives you a sense of who I am and how I can support you on your journey!

Before becoming a counselor, I built a career in business administration and relationship management, working with international non-profit organizations across various fields, including higher education, molecular research, investment banking, and medical trauma. My strengths in communication, relationship-building, and community engagement allowed me to thrive in these roles.

Turning 40 brought an experience unlike anything I had ever faced before. Was it a nervous breakdown, a spiritual awakening, or a mid-life crisis? Perhaps all of the above - accompanied by panic, anxiety, depression, and some of the darkest days, months and years of my life. I endured endless physical symptoms, countless ER visits, and medical check-ups, yet no answers and no cure for my suffering. This profound struggle led me to look deeper within and explore the complexities of the human psyche.

Simultaneously, I felt a deep calling to transition into a profession that was even more meaningful—one that truly resonated with my heart. My longstanding curiosity about psychology led me to pursue a Master’s in Counseling at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, an experience that fundamentally transformed my life. It was filled with eye-opening moments that empowered my personal development and at the same time reinforced my passion for helping others. During my counseling internship at Webster, I supported middle school students at the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL). Later, during my practicum years, I collaborated with Dr. Brandi Eijsermans, a psychologist at Optimal Wellness Global where I worked with clients ranging in age from 8 and 64 years.

After graduating, and stabilizing my own mental and physical health, I embraced this calling and became a self-employed counselor. Guiding my clients toward personal growth and transformation is not just my profession—it is my purpose. Helping people become the best version of themselves is deeply fulfilling, and I feel that I am finally doing the work I was meant to do.
